Hello, i bought this 2004 model Suzuki from the insurance company 3 months ago. First i thought, that i would throw away the splattered fairings, but then i looked at the nice frontlamp and decided to buy some second hand parts. I have been watching Valentino Rossi on Youtube in the motogp channel, so I started seeking  for suitable stickers. From Ebay.uk. I found suitable 2008 sticker kit. The paint is normal spraycolour with metalflake coating. It would look better with proper paint, but it is impossible to sell this kind of bike. If i sell it, it will be painted professionally in blue factory colours.
Now, you may wonder why i choose the Fiat style Rossi Replica(2007-2010).  The reason is my Fiat Stilo, that almost drove me mad with constant beeping sound.
It is impossible to remove the beeping sounds. I Managed to fix the car, but it is impossible to sell it, because many think, that this is the worst Fiat of all times.
Then i thought, that it would be a funny idea to advertise the Fiat brand. Every time i see this bike, it makes me smile. It is just like watching dumb and the dumber in the miniscooter scene from  youtube.
Of course a real Yamaha R1 would be better replica bike, but they are very expensive. This cost only 3 digit euro currency units. The Aliexpress led rearmirrors, Audi A4 front side turnsignals, led rearlamp and secondhand petroltank and frame measuring and approval added the price to double. One sidefairing panel was also so bad, that i had to buy a better one from ebay.uk. In Finland this model is very rare, because it was only 25kW originally in Germany. I removed the restrictions and now it is 35kW.  This gstwins.forum is very usefull, here i can find advice how to make this bike better. Thanks a lot to everybody, who have contributed to this site.

Today it rained all day, so it was a perfect day for the final touch to my GS500. I found some 30 years old moped luggagerack, so i welded it together with scrapmetal, 2 wheel wrenches etc. I must say that Nissan tool was made off much better steel than the the black Opel tool.
Here are three pictures, maybe they inspire people to build there own accessories. I saved about 100 euro by welding this  rack.
Now the bike is ready for long and winding roads, like Paul McCartney sung in the 70´S.
Next I am concentrating myself to improving the performance of this motor. The bike is originally 25 kW, so I will start by replacing the airfilter with older model that has bigger intake tube.
There is one good thing about being old or as nobody wants to be old, so called senior person. I just went to check my motorcycle magazine library. And there it was, the original 1989 May Motorcyclist, there was even the pricetag 18 finish marks. Unfortunately it was stuck on the best part of the cover, "Suzuki NEW GS500 Bargain"
I will make a A3 colour copy of the add on page 35  "Simply Irresistible all new GS500, only $2,999 and place it on the wall.

I thought, that Rossi would also apreciate a usefull way of transporting things. It might make a bit more windresistance, but
Valentino is so fast driver, that he can compensate this disadvantage.  ;)

the GS500f is just too fast for rossi...

I think he would feel a lot safer with that wind resistance slowing him down! good idea gsa!

Rossi has been with Yamaha so long that a new team would be interesting to him. Suzuki is a new team in 2015
and needs a good pilot. There are many fast riders like the team mate that passed Rossi  riding on his frontwheel 280 km/t.
That was amazing. You really must trust your fronttire if you make a stunt like that.
