A bit of a long story,

I nearly got wiped out on my bike the other day because I left my indicator on, as I always do, and a car pulled out in front of me.  But it was ok int he end because she was very hot and had a french accent, and she stopped to make sure I was ok.

So I wired buzzer up to my indicators on the weekend, and I wired the buzzers to the brake light so they dont sound when I am stopped at the lights.

But now I am noticing that I need to push my rear brake pedal down quite a lot for the buzzers to stop/ the rear brake light to turn on.  So this got me thinking,does this mean that I am not really doing anything when I press down my rear brake pedal?  Should I adjust my rear brake pedal higher? Or maybe this is a feature, ie the brake light does not come on if the rider is breaking lightly/riding the brakes?

You can adjust the rear brake light switch operation by means of turning the nut on it.

Asjust it so it can't operate unless the brake is applied on purpose, i.e. let it have some free-play, but not too much.

And to adjust the switch easily... remove the heel guard first! ... fiddly swearing job if you don't!
