Hi. I'm new here I cant find anything else about this on here. I have cleaned carbs changed plugs. I dont know why this is doing this.  Its an 03 stock except k&n. the bike is warm no choke. When it goes to about 5k is because I hit the throttle but I dont know why its not going down and the idle screw didnt help.  Thanks for any help in advance.
Pics 1500. Just started it warm
4000 rev it
3xxx not reving it. Doing it all on its own

Have you looked at your throttle cable? That could need adjusting.

Cable is good. Bike runs fine when firat starting throttle responds normally but then idle doesnt come down... and yes I checked the operation of the flaps in carb with the air box off and they work perfectly.

Checked the float height and it was way too low. So now it is set proper and is running ok now. All is good for now.

the problem is back, except the bike runs perfectly within he first 10min from startup, then when it gets nice and warm does it again. i am going to change the intake manifolds soon and will post back as to whether it is fixed, because i checked for an air leak and when i spray around between the engine and carb it revs up significantly, so i assume that the air leak is to blame.
