Hello Guys,

I'm new to this forum and I'm new to motorcycles.

It would be awesome if you could help to fix a stupid mistake.

I bought a 04 GS500F, the old owner did not ride it very often and it was sitting for most of the time. So I decided to do some work before the season starts.

Today I replaced the oil and the airfilter AND I pulled the carbs while taking everything apart I removed the TPS and now I have no clue how to adjust it. Could someone let me know what I need to do?

I'm really concerned that I F'ed up.

I think I need to sync my carbs as well since one of the valves makes a sound once it touches the case and the other side does not make a sound. I don't know how else to describe it.

Thank you

Sebastian

Hi have a friend  in ontario , canada ,  to show a hands on set-up , problem is  he is away for  a month or more ,  and  I live in  california  / whittier area ,  post  up again to see if anyone is in your area for a hands on , (tools )  I made my own  offset  screwdriver  to fit , so I could adjust  T.P.S.  on the bike ,  you can set  T.P.S.  on the carbs   even  off the bike  ,  what  I  did was  google  gs500f  T.P.S.  set-up  instructions , worked  great  :thumb: ,  kind regards  rg500gamma  p.s.  go to the search section up above to the right  and type in T.P.S. sensor  the information is there also .
