LEDs to be solid off only if turn signal is flashing

Hey everyone. I just got my 05 GS500F and am trying to figure out what to do with LEDs.
I'd really like to have solid blue LEDs on the sides that stay on solid all the time, unless that side's turn signal is flashing. If the turn signal is flashing, I want that side's blue to stay off until the turn signal is canceled, because I'll have orange LEDs flashing with the turn signal.
It would be really easy to do using a relay, but from what I can see, the turn signal switch gets pulsating power from the turn signal relay when it's active.
I'd really rather leave the stock wiring together. Does anyone have any ideas? Maybe use a relay and capacitor so when the turn signal is flashing, it charges the capacitor, which then powers the relay to open the circuit to blue?

Not sure where you live, but in most places having blue lights on your vehicle is HIGHLY illegal. In fact, having blue lights that turn off and on, like you want, could be construed by an officer with something to prove as being "flashing" blue lights. At that point, it's not just a misdemeanor, it's a felony 'impersonating an officer' charge, impounded bike, whole 9 yards!

Be aware, this is not very wise advise!

Probably should have added this. It's legal in PA, and actually recommended by PennDOT (Chapter 43, act 229, section 4310).
I was thinking it would be legal since it's not technically flashing, it's allowing the orange to stick out better by turning off until the turn is canceled.
Would that be pushing my luck?
I guess it would be better for me to ask a cop about that part, but until then, any ideas? Lol.

There are relays you can buy that solve this sort of issue. Superbrightleds.com sells some. Look there are see if those might fix your issue via the description.

I found relays there, but don't see anything that would keep the blue off if the orange is flashing. Did you find one that would, and maybe I just can't find it?

Hey there,
Pretty much doing the same thing but with orange lights.
I'm told if you use a normally on relay and control the off with power taken from before the flasher unit it should work.

Update; it didn't work
The flasher unit must be upstream of the switch, so running a relay off it then to ground just causes continuous current. The only thing I can think of is rewiring the flasher unit to be diagram of the switch, but that might be a huge mission

I have a thought.... the Audi latest cars have this kind of setup.... with white led parking lamp strip (integrated into headlamp area though) .. the white led strip turns off when the orange flasher circuit is active (not alternate swaps orange/white/orange/white... but completely off till flasher circuit is cancelled) ... so.... being that there is a forum for everything these days..  maybe an Audi forum or similar may have advice or a wiring setup diagram. ... might ay least give some pointers in how it's done? ... an existing circuit is always easier to follow and adapt/modify than creating a new one ?!

Its worth a try Janx, however most cars these days have all lighting ran by the Body Control Module. The computer monitors the turn signal switch and controls lighting accordingly, it even pulses the turn signal on its own without a relay.

Been thinking about this one, I'm still planning on doing it at some stage.
It might work using a relay and a timing circuit, ie, indicators turn on, start timer circuit which provides consistent power to relay which turns off aux lights.
Indicators turn off, timing circuit completes its time,ie 3sec, aux lights turn back on.
When the indicator is running it is constantly telling the timing circuit to restart.
