I'm not sure about everyone else, but I have a great excuse... where I live the water table starts about 1mm below ground and the land is flat. No mines or quarries here.  ;)

I've travelled around a heap of aussieland and I can't think of a 4way stop sign anywhere?... think it's a USA thing?... nevermind! Hopefully we get a taker!

I figured the good old 4-way was a staple across america.

I guess Oz is smart enough to use roundabouts instead of 4-way's  :cheers:
