YES, it's a film spool, you put the exposed film on it (35 mm) and then you put it in the developing tank (you must do this in complete darkness), after you close the tank, you pour in the chemicals. first the developer, then the fixer, after a few minutes, you can remove the spool from the tank, and put the film to dry (in the light).
