I will take that as a correct answer, Janx take it away :)

It's a temperature sensor, it plugs in the board of the equipment where the antennas are connected.

Looks like the temp sensor for a refrigeration unit of some sort.

Janx101

Elmojo

Nope, not a motor of any kind, although there is a motor in the photo... although it's barely in the frame and is mostly hidden by the other stuff.

Watcher

Reminds me of the spring tabs that 9v batteries use.  Is it some kind of electrical connector?

Elmojo

Nope, although there is an electrical component to the unit, as you can see from the wires in the background.
Those are connected to part of this system, but not directly.

ragecage23

I can't wait till I get one right. I have such a good challenge.

Heat sink for a light of some kind?

Elmojo

Nope.
It's mostly plastic, so it would be a terrible heat sink.  :D
Ok, time for a hint: It's automotive-related.

mennobike

I'll have no idea what piece you're referring to unless you include one of the following: Doobly doo, thing-a-ma-jigger, or dibbledy dop.
