I got around to adding the windscreen that I purchased from Lefgee. I think it looks good on the bike, and I noticed it does a pretty good job of blocking wind if you tuck behind at highway speeds.

A couple quick shots.

Install is easy, but I did take pics of the process and have some tips to make installation easier. I could put together a how-to if anyone is interested.

Then, I went to start it up this morning, and nothing...took out the battery and had it tested, and yup it was bad. Luckily the shop had one left and I was able to snap it up and can still ride this weekend.

Normally I don't like the look of most windscreens, but that one looks pretty cool. :)

Looks crap. If you want a wind screen drive a car.
Sorry ive been drinking, but i stand by my opinion  :cookoo:.
No matter what i do to it, it's still a GS
It's not how fast your bike is, it's how long you are prepared to hold the throttle on.

I don't know about anyone else, but I find "that's crap" to be extremely rude. Especially when it's a new addition to their GS. And I don't think drinking is an excuse. But I don't want to start anything here.

Like the look of that thing! Nice
I'll have no idea what piece you're referring to unless you include one of the following: Doobly doo, thing-a-ma-jigger, or dibbledy dop.

I'm a "function before beauty" kinda guy, I give it a 75% beauty score and a 25% function score, IMHO it enhances the looks of the bike and looks like it belongs on it  :thumb:

Function before beauty of course, but it's also a benefit game...It's a net gain in both departments, may as well!

so, stevo...you're the kinda guy who likes to wear cargo pants?

Stevo: that pic is one of the most majestic things I've seen in a long time!

That's a nice wind screen.

It looks similar to my headlight fairing which i got from someone in the UK. Mine is all glossy though and the windscreen is tinted.

It's sad that I don't have pics of my bike on my computer or phone. I should keep a set of those available at all times like I do with my fiancee.
