Hi Folks. I have a 2001 GS500k1 that hasn't been ridden in 4 years. it's been up on a stand in my basement. when it was running it was in great shape and could be again. Probably just needs new battery/carb clean/ clutch plates/ good gas. may need more but who knows. I had it running last year but when I took it out there was no go in her so I suspect the clutch plates are fused. I should mention it has a clean title.

at any rate if you think you can salvage any value here please let me know and I'll give it over for little more than your help getting her out of my basement.

I'm moving in august and if no one wants takes it the next stop is the scrap yard.

The bike is not stock. IT's an 01 Naked 20/62.5/135 2 washers 2.5 turns K&N drop in V&H full exhaust. SS brake lines. HH pads. Progressive springs (not installed).

I also have various other equipment for sale. Riding Jacket and Pants in good to like new condition. Shoe helmet. tank bag. rear wheel stand.

I'm in Belmont MA. let me know if you want to take a look. can provide pics. just haven't taken any yet.

I bet you've had much interest in the springs.  If you'd be willing to send to Australia I am interested.

Its probably bad fuel and maybe clogged carbs. Clutch plates don't/cant fuse. If you weren't 8-900 miles away ...
