Axle brace bolt size?

I have a 2004 GS 500 F. Does anybody know what size the fork brace bolts would be? In doing some recent bodywork, I found that my brace only has one bolt attached, which has me worried.  If I can figure out the dimensions of these bolts, I should be able to pick up some extras from work...

Thanks for any help!

**EDIT**

I found in the parts list that the screw is a 6x12.  I'm assuming 6mmx12mm?  But not sure if that gives me a thread size.  Again, thanks for any help! 8)

Which bolts are you looking for exactly? Do you have the part number for it? I've found that the easiest way is to just take the bolt off and take it in to compare. You can compare the length and threads side by side.

My bad... Not axle bolt... FORK BRACE BOLTS!  Sorry for the confusion.

Ahh, gotcha! Take a look here: http://gstwins.com/gsboard/index.php?topic=59987.0

There's good advice to replace them with nice stainless hex bolts, especially if you have a selection at work :)
