Forgive my ignorance, but does anyone know if this horn will bolt right on without any modification?  My horn crapped out and I need to get a replacement.

Or does anyone have a better alternative for the around the same price?

It "should" bolt on ok from what little can see of the bracket....

Basically it likely a standard horn setup with some flashy front. ... does look good though! ...

So long as electrical connections are same it will 'probably' plug and play!

There are two types of motorcycle horn ......

The first type grounds out through the frame and sounds when it sees some positive volts via the push button
The second type is fed with a permanent live and grounds out through the push button, consequently this type needs to be isolated from the frame or it will sound continually with key-on

The GS5 use's the second type.

Ask the seller if the horn has 1 terminal or 2........if its 1 forget it, it wont work. Also note that some horns are polarised and will only function if the + and - are correctly configured, in the case of the GS5 the + terminal needs to go on the orange cable.

If your bike is in the Compatibility List(which it probably is) then by the seller it'll work.
I would still message the seller with my exact Make/model/year/country just to confirm, and if not compatible HE pays for return shipping.
Unsure if US do this but PayPal Oz offer a free return shipping service(hopefually u don't wanna test this)

Maybe even do what i did and purchase two and connect them in parallel.

i did for a while use a horn from a lincoln town car. there was some modding necessary tho. but funny as hell to see the looks on ppls faces when that much horn came out of something that small.
