Last Friday, I headed to the gym after work and find a full parking lot. I decided to park up on the sidewalk. When I went to back out with my helmet on I didn't see that I was going off the side of the concrete ramp. About a second later the bike leaned over and I had no chance to catch it. Dropped :( No biggie, this bikes been dropped before by previous owners and that's one of the reasons I went with the GS for a first bike. So I pick it up and ride off. A few blocks later my blinker falls out. That sucker was hanging by a wire and it still works :D

So I order a new nose cowl and it shows up today cracked. Now I got to return it and probably wait another week to ride which is driving me nuts lol.

I came home last night and noticed that the rear tire of my bike was almost on top of the curb. Someone had backed into it. I was concerned because the forks were locked, it was clamped against the curb originally, and it was in first gear. I looked at it and everything checked out so I took it for a test ride to see if everything was good. After riding around town for about 10 miles With no issues I headed to the freeway. At about 70mph on the freeway the chain gave up and ejected itself. I eased the bike onto the shoulder. Drives me nuts because I had both sprockets and a chain professionally installed about 3,000 miles ago. I check the adjustment and clean/lube every two weeks and ride daily.

I just want to ride but it's just been getting obstacled lately haha

Ahhh you're right, such drama!!! Drama sucks... ugh I'm sorry to read about your crummy luck.

Thank God you're okay though after that chain issue! :icon_eek: And smh... someone backing into your bike and just leaving... wtf. I hate it. No hope of figuring out who or anything ?  :police:

I hope you are able to get back to riding soon !!!

Sometimes "higher powers" decide that you shouldn't be on the road! ..  I usually sigh and nod to the sky... when it's meant to be safe time again then everything will come together easily!
