Good news and bad news. Good news is its healing. Bad news is the damage cannot be repaired. I'll be dealingnwith postbtraumatic arthritis.bfrom now on. A cast for another month. Thenbfitting for a permanent ankle brace. To be used whenbwalking. Culmanating with ankle fusion in abfew mos. Aka my ankle will ne locked.at 90deg. But ill still be a bipod. So at some point ill be on a gs again. Basic mod would be abueelbtoebshifter. Ivengotba compatible onebfromban HD so ibguess here's looking forward

Almost went to hosp. Yesterday. I had a seroma burst. A fluid filled sack around the  implant. Lost A LOT of CSF. Will have to keep an eye on it. Plus my pain doc dismissed me yesterday. Not a huge issue, i see my primary doc.Wednesday. she can handle that short term.  Btw, weight.back to  151. For now.

Called neuros office this am, he called hack, since no onvious signs of infection in spinal area, will keep close eye on it and call mondaybfor what next instructions. If CCSF can get out, bacteria can get in aka spinal meningitis. Now infection in peft big toe.from its.cast. but im still optimistic. Abround of antibiotics.shouldbsuffice.

Okaaaaaaay heres a bit of an update/gripe post. im up at 3am in the midst of a possible tornadic storm. if not, at least im getting a good show out of it. with the lightningwise. wind is slowly increasing. rain ceased abruptly now is slowly increasing.  im remaining awake, until it passes  because it would take me 20 minutes to get to where father and sister and niece  are sleeping. each in own room. takes 20 mins to wake dad lol. others fire up stereo = job done.  then takes me 20 mins to go back down hall (30ft) to basement. and 20 mins to carefully descend stairs. anyhoo now to relevant parts of post ( ears popping and ive got pe tubes wtf lol) last week i develop   a UTI or at least notice it while at church. had to have a trusted friend sttand behind me while i tried.  after 20 mins nothing. after hour 2 10 mins again nothing. anyhoo that day 18 hours of nothingness.  it slowly improves. im at roughly 60%  ( 60% of amt i take in. comes out. ) seems to be a common thing with diabetics. and those with compromised immune systems. or immune systems being overworked.  and those post operative. 3 weeks then almost.  ANYHOO, ALSO THE TIME i have the SSI issue. ( surgical site drainage. this past friday, my pain doc kicks me to the curb. citing meth use and only using the SCS implant 47% of the time. 1 never tried meth. last illegal thing was herb 10 years ago. i said with that device in your hand i mistook you for a minimed rep. i see i was grossly mistaken. you see i was not allowed to charge device UNTIL staples were removed. which was 9 days ago as of the 20th. and failed pill count?  Um maam check records  Dr reat my orthopod wrote those for this kinda obvious series of fractures. since your reply was " take an aspirin"  to the 10fold increase in pain. i see youve NEVER dealt with CHRONIC FRACTURE pain on top of IMPLANT surgery on top of NEUROPATHY.  if you had youd be a bit more understanding. " Aar.... i told her politely, the floor is mine. youre going to say what you wish in your report, just be truthful  BECAUSE for some odd reason i record audibly issues like this. and bad press takes FOREVER to undo. especially when i get ahold of minimed rep. i was needing to have it adjusted.  she said we will still do that. i said not to me you wont. they will want to know why  i am unwilling to have it done  here. and i will have this recording.  im not paying a site visit to a facility ive no other business with. its hell to get a pain clinic license and easily lost. now im not going there. not worth it. so just be truthful in your report. i saw my primary doc day before you and 12 panel makes no mention of it. ( i requested this along with lab backup.) so just be truthful in your report is all i ask. or i will challenge this. you should KNOW it Cannot be run at 100% Unless i can charge it. which with TI staples in me cannot be done. Now moving forward from there i called my orthopod, asking him to call in my tramadol refill. for some reason knowing this was going to happen. it was jfilled that day. most pm docs dont mind this in a treatment regimen along with stronger meds.  this past sunday again the uti was still happening along with the output deficiency.  im outputting  regularly albeit deficient still.  yesterday i was awakened with the most GOD awful  pain ever. a 15 on a 10 scale seriously. i almost called 911. yes i had invasive surgery. so pain to be expected.  day before was nearly gone. anyhoo i turned device up to 5.90 and tried to sleep. this high output caused some bleeding. which i noticed later on. i figured today i have doc appt, i  can  kill two birds with one stone.
     output deficiency concerned her,  she whiz quizzed me because she saw that i was/am in distress. i explained  issue.  she is serving as pm doc again like before. until maybe i find another facility or late april.. when i want to get off of those. as long as no further surgeries. lol. thinking of NOT having the fusion process if the prosthetic will work. one on each foot.  i get a month on each beginning feb. anyhoo the infections. ive been on many high potency antibiotics,  im waiting until monday if i dont crash first. ill get a PICC line put in and do it at home. i had pics of the site, but tbh i consider them NSFW. ill find the old ones. if the dehiscience progresses ill have to go in. earlier.  this is a condition when an incision  starts to open. both have. about a half inch each. but my body plugged both. hence the nsfw. trying to postpone this all until mon. but im training my sub at church to cover for me just in case.
gp doc ordered a bone density scan, i asked for a nerve conduction study as well. my left wrist has minimal improvement. you could put a $100 bill in there,  i couldnt get it out. now, the wrist happened 21st of nov. on church tfip. i fell a total of 7 times. once at home. i didnt frac. wrist cause of no pain. either i ended up with radial nerve palsy,j or a stroke. because i couldnt stay in seat even belted. a bit of facial droop but barely noticeable. GAL at church wsanted to take me to vanderbilt. i declined. said it hit OR. AFTER OUR return. a bit of mental confusion but wrist and new FX. ws only issues. i went back to useless cell phone. saving other as backup. OH weight, im up to 160. idk why. maybe retaining water. will update as things change. more than likely often and soon.
im sorry for yet another monster post. i may violate church policy and get a beer. ONCE. it makes me pee like a russian race horse.

Got ahold of neuro via the answering service. told him about the seroma draining, last week, he asked a few questions. he kinda panicked when i mentioned the Dehisience (sp?) which is the incisionS starting to open. he said " you may be getting ready to lose it." i asked if using steri strips would keep it together he said no. ill call in some antibiotics, you cover it with 4x4s and come in monday and well figure out whats next. specially when i mentioned both were doing this. each hole is grown close to 7/8 of an inch.  im hoping it holds together at least thru christmas party at church. along with church on sunday. have another seroma filling. if it holds together i may go. since weve several surgeons in congregation along with EMTs if it lets go ill step out and call 911. and go to OR. BUT then again idk. may just stay home. and play it safe.

front half of foot is burning/numb err both feet. hell ivve hamd evvery adverse  problem one can have on a minimed SCS.  IF THE bdehiscience ( wound incision popping open and growing albeit slowly. and rep is nowhere to be found. if the vertical isncision bursts, ill feel a intense burn like now but worse. plus wetness from csf coming out along with blood. if / when either let go,   ill be tested for staph.. and meningitis. if positive i spend a week in isolation.. 1 its contagious at first, plus it destroys my immune system for a few days. this will blow. both incisions are compromised.  put butterfly bandages. over each one. bottom one now over an inch. and under tension. butterflys are useless but ill feel them pop first, then i brace for burn then fluid running out. and blood too. bottom one is draining slowly and growing slowly. (opening). doing best to make church party, planning on singing with the girls. they dont know the dire issue. but i must make it IF it can be done safely.. some steps were missed in trial phase and it set this up. a common and this DR my old pm doc, i THOUGHT was a good one. my neighbor a lawyer,  was drooling.. im like mike dude lets survive until monday first. im trying like hell to make the party.  doc didnt mind  AS LONG as back was kept straight. and movt was kept to a minimum. if it pops at party ill have my go to bag ready. a towel i can ruin. an ace bandage to secure it to backside, the ladies are the subjects of my next series of drawings. too bad theyre 21. im twice their age lol. one bought me a NICE  drawing pad, pencils pens markers etc. told me not to peek. lol. but it was in a bag loosely covered. lol. so im trying to get photos of them to draw. but may not go. it depends. hell im sweating now., NOT good.. outside its 72f. not sweating weather. if temp is above 101f im going tonight. am petrified here. brb.

Update, Test results back.  Staph infection. both at device location,  and at medial malleolus ( distal tib, near fracture location.) got me on so many antibiotics i could fart sterilely (sp?) neuro says the 2 are related. meaning device has to be explanted. ( taken out). i dont think i want it put back. dont think i want minimed to try again tbh.

Getting a PICC Line put in tomorrow to treat the MRSA. so essentially, im doing my ivs at home. hoping they let me go soon. been here since the 24th.

Day 5 coming to a close. have a mrsa infection in ankle, under the cast. hell for some reason my body does not like casts it seems.
had cast removed. have a few weeks  of antibiotics to do. its either that or spend 4 weeks in a nursing home. cause insurace wont pay for a home health nurse.

Well im home. missed christmas altogether. theyre trying to kick this infection using a VERY expensive antibiotic regimen. ( around $20k range) over 28 days. because my insurance would not cover a home health nurse. so why didnt they find this out before setting me up with a PICC line?!? ( long term iv) if this oral doesnt work, im going to end up in a nursing home for at least a month. to be honest i am scared. had they cleared other infections this quite possibly wouldnt be an issue. neuro asked ortho about removing cast to check for infections/wounds/ulcers. ortho was like " naah hes fine. no fever" i was in so much pain, 3 doses of dilaudid did nothing, i was crying. my body it seems doesnt like casts. so this plus the scs implant failure, destroyed my immune system temporarily. my lawyer neighbor wants to go after them plus minimed. im holding back for now. just trying to stay alive. anyhoo ill post whenever i can. just glad to be home. im tired of this cr*p. of hospitals  doc appts, all of it. will hope and pray this last ditch oral antibiotic  treatment does the job. with my immune system compromised ( its tired lol) i cant physically touch anybody FOR A MONTH or i risk my life. and i dont want to risk their health either. theyd make out better than me , but still dont want to risk it. weight wise, still around my norm of 150. anyhoo will be on later my friends, thank you for being there for me.
