Hey there. Need a tad bit of help. 2004 Suzuki GS500F US model. Suzuki manual clearly shows the throttle cables being routed under the frame cross bar under the fuel tank with the old dotted line meaning underneath. It does not show the routing for the clutch or choke cable, over or under the cross bar. I have seen a couple of photos where the cables were routed over the cross bar, and a couple where they had been routed under the cross bar, none of them were very clear because the photo or video taker was trying to show something else. Can anyone tell me what the stock condition is, so I may place them there? Thank you.

I have another problem that I just came across. I have two wiring harness plugs that I am unable to locate their mates for. One originates out of the harness right next to the right side carburetor, and the other is toward the rear on the right side. I am hoping you can provide some assistance as I am unable to find a photo in the manual. Also, do you have any photos showing the routing of the handle bar switch harnesses to their under tank mates? Thank you.

The connection in the lower image goes to the starter relay. Not sure about the other one.
No matter what i do to it, it's still a GS
It's not how fast your bike is, it's how long you are prepared to hold the throttle on.

woohoo! I found it. Pulled back the sheathing some and traced the wire colors on the schematic. It's the the throttle position sensor. Thanks for the clue on the other one, found it's proper place, too. As for the handlebar switch wire harnesses, do the go along the handlebars at all? or do they just follow along with the throttle cables on the right, and clutch/choke cables on the left? Thank you.

PS Sorry for the seemingly dumb questions. My son and I were working on this bike as a project for him over a year ago. He took photos of how everything was as we dismantled. Then he decided to run away from home, at 17, for some sleaze bag girl, and lost/deleted all the photos in the process of that nightmare. This is why I'm not sure where everything goes. Thanks for the help.
