Ok...Someone list full system exhausts that the GS500F can accomodate and where to buy them and model name of the exhaust.  What later models of the gs500 have the same exhaust fitting?

I'd really like to buy a yoshimura slip on, i just don't know which model would be the closest fit.  if i have to take it to a shop to get it welded i will.  Just need a model # or something. or name...soemthing  :dunno:

tried slip on search exhaust search and petteepablo's site.  not much came up.  :dunno:

The exhaust is the same from '89 all the way up today. It hasn't changed with the "new" model.

The only problem you could run into is if some aftermarket exhaust ran very differently than the stock exhaust system. I think the V&H one was like that, and some of the EX500 pipes I've seen beaten to fit would probably be asking for trouble....

Your two main options for a full system would a used Yoshimura or vance and hines- The VH you can find new- or you can keep an eye out on ebay or other lists.

The only thing that I'd caution you about is making sure it fits the fairing. My system fits but I did have to fabricate a couple items to keep it from rubbing on some parts.  I ride an 01.
