I got home the other day and upon dismounting my 1990 gs500e I noticed that I was missing the right side engine cover (timing/ignition).  Some how the bolts backed out one by one and it fell off without me ever noticing. Bummer because i just painted the engine and put a new emblem on that cover.  Anyways, I traced my route several times with no luck in finding the jettisoned part. I have searched ebay and oddly there is nothing (I think there was one in sweden).  Anyone have a cover lying around?

I would really prefer that it not be rashed or scrapped up but that may be too much to ask. Also, where can you find the one piece/closed CNC version I have seen here.  Is anyone making these for sale and if so what is the ask?

You sure it 'fell off' on its own and wasn't assisted by some lowlife oik with a spanner?

definitely fell off...and i can even tell the order in which the bolts gave way based on the scratches on the case.  If it had happened in any different order I think it would have hit my foot while rotating on that last bolt.  grrr

I think this is the thread you were wanting to see about the cover:
