Only had time to put on my rear tire today, will do the front soon. While I brought the tire to the shop to be mounted and balanced I picked up some degreaser and cleaned the rear frame and cleaned the chain (not with degreaser, with WD-40) and did that while I waited for the shop to call me. I just need to pick up some new cotter pins. Also think my battery is gone for good now, used to have to jump it first time to ride it if it got really cold out, now I jump it and it dies soon after lights flickering and dash lights  :dunno_black:

Went from a 130 to 140 rear. Small difference, but its noticeable.

Looks good man! noticeable ride difference? if the tires i had on my GS wern't brand new i was thinking about going a couple mils wider. and yeah you're battery probably is toast. Have you thought about going with a Shorai this time around?

Thank you! Well, I haven't really got the chance to ride it more than up and down the block so I can't notice a difference in handling, but I do feel the bike feels a little higher in the rear. But that may be because my old tire was so shot in the rear. As for the battery, Im going to look into a Shorai, thanks!

No problemo. The Shorai's are very nice. but they can be a little pricey. especially when you consider you need the special $90 charger to go with it. But, they are lithium so that weight difference is substantial. bonus is they can me mounted in anyway imaginable.

You ddon't "need" a special charger for a Shorai, you just can't use any old charger laying around.

Boostin - any cotter pins will work. Stainless (personally recommend), aluminum, or steel.

Thank you Rich, I'll be sure to pick up some cotter pins this week.
