Being under stress over worrying about this procedure (risky/kinda major) i decided im going to make at least 2 maybe 3 youtube vids about it. using the kneescooter, when rolling in, i play the darth vader theme, then if allowed i want to point camera at my face, as im iv'ed and the anaesthesia is administered,  and recording until it takes effect, the doc or whomever would shut it off. ( hoping this is allowed. sometimes the reactions are funny.) and finally if/when i leave, i play the theme from the great escape, as i leave via the parking garage. maybe doing a vlog as the pain meds take effect in recovery.. ( this usually results in all things hilarious.

i cant explain the enlargement though. not a major issue at this point.  high bp  not even an issue, times it was 140/90 which was borderline. unless its in relation to the (at times) rapid heartrate.  (120+) idk . whether ankle is fused or removed monday, ill at least know where i stand and move fwd from there. i asked for any bone he removes, weird ? yes.  but funny when displayed with my fossil collection ( especially the mastodon tooth) should be out by wed/thurs.

Got a call 'round 3pm from surgeons nurse. the MRSA has relapsed it seems. so she called in the antibiotics  to try knocking it out before monday. wth lol  id rather spend 5 days at home vs 5 days there. tbh. C'est La Vie lol. plus with the weather fronts moving thru tn, its aggrivating the arthritis :technical: monday cant come soon enough.

I get one of the isolation rooms. To reduce risk to myself.  A few of which overlook the lifestar pad. Ill ask if I can get one Lola. I can scan lifestar radio to know when there arriving or departing. And can put tablet in windowsill
I am scared . Because this can complicate the surgery. Hoping for the best Eh?

ill take a pic beforehand. prolly best way to show it ( the deformity currently) is while its inside the crow boot. pending succesful surgery it will be straigtened out. if not it will be amputated below the knee. the surgery involves a LONG im nail going thru ankle bone into the tibia almost to the knee. secured with a few screws sidewards. a plate to  repair the shattered fibula, and a few screws thru it, thru the syndesmosis and into the tib. since there is no cartilage, he will remove part of the tib, part of the fib, making a flat surface, and remove part of the ankle bone. body will treat it like a new fracture and fuse it solid. this is a limb salvage procedure. if it fails, its gone. hoping body doesnt treat the nail as a foreign body and go to war on it. but if it works ill be able to ride on 2 wheels again.  id have to either put an air shifter onto a gs ( bike of choice lol) or use a heel toe shifter from a harley. ive got one from my 03 sportster. OR ik could rig a jockey shift. remounting clutch lever onto it. theres a few ideas. OR using a 400ex ( honda quad) swingarm, i make a trike. im kinda liking this idea. it will fit with minimal modification.. anyhoo back to the procedure. whatever the outcome, excluding not surviving lol. ( i WILL survive this. pending making sure there are no other issues, at least ill know where im at and can FINALLY BEGIN healing/reconstruction. OH  lol i found something at adv auto. ( was there to get a belt for riding mower.) i found a set of cordless strobe lights. when funds are avail, ill grab those for the scooter. i want badly lol. those things are BRIGHT lol.

at least ill know where i stand. [pun intended) on one leg or two. tbh with the bone density issue , i wonder if being a monopod might be the better outcome. naah prolly not. that IM nail placed inside my tibia from ankle to nearly knee, the lower leg will be metal lol. STRONG. ohh i found at auto place a strobe kit for 40 lol. cordless. +12v powered. which i can do with a drill battery. ill try and grab that when i can. will prolly be last bs item for the scooter.
