Hi  Would any one know if the crankshaft + rods from a two valve GS450 (448cc)  work in  a 1989 GS500E engine ? If not I am shopping for a serviceable crankshaft + rods.  Thanks in Advance.

There was a big long thread about crank swaps between 2 GS'es of the same type, like a 95 and a 98.
Its pretty hard, need lots of bearings and some expert machine work.
