I've had my second GS for about 2 months now and thanks to the search function and BaltimoreGS's videos, I've gained a lot of confidence to work on my bike.

I've been able to install new spark plugs, synthetic oil, a slip on, 4300K BIXENON HID, .95 sonic springs and 15wt fork oil. I'm working on rejetting through Buddha's guidance and hoping to install a lunchbox soon.

I'll be using slipperymongoose's video on YouTube to install an R6 shock. I bought 2 R6 shocks, which one do you guys recommend I install? I believe the one with the RED spring is from an 06 and the other with the silver spring is from an 07 (learned that through the board).

I'm waiting for the bolt, nut, washer, and collar to arrive so I can install the shock.

In the meanwhile, has anyone had better experience with one over the other?

I have a red one on mine. I like seeing some red spring under the seat when I look down there.
