The weather is so nice I'm going camping Wednesday night in western PA.

That's awesome. I saw a lot of people out with campers this past weekend. We're buying a pop-up in the spring...can't wait!

...for the record, I prefer more traditional camping. I'd rather go out to the backcountry and hike until I find a good place to stop and set up camp. That being said, my wife is more likely to go along if she has a bed to sleep in. At least this way I can start getting the family out to some of the really great state parks and recreational areas around here.

Yeah, weather has been a bit warm. Had a great ride on saturday. 70's here in PA, very few clouds. Sunday was super nice in the first half of the day, then a pretty sudden thunderstorm. Saw a lot of bikers who maybe hadn't looked at the forecast get caught in that when I was out and about (in my car, not on the bike in that weather lol). Right before it started to rain I did see one dude on a GSXR hauling ass in the opposite direction of the clouds, trying to stay dry.

Hopefully the weather is good this whole week, since I'm planning on riding home a ninja 250 I'm buying later this week. Wouldn't wanna do that in the rain lol.

Was hoping to do the whole cookie monster motorcycle suit thing today but I am a little short on funds so...

My costume is going to be lame for my cousin's party today.  Budget means I'm going as Phillip J Fry from Futurama.

White T-shirt, red jacket/button shirt, faded jeans, black gym shoes, I'm gonna shave (all free stuff), and I'm trying to avoid spraying my hair orange.
I wouldn't have an issue with it if I didn't have to ride my moto to his house.  I don't want orange inside my helmet...
But the "costume" doesn't make sense without the orange hair...

Wig.

It's been upper 80s near 90 here all week, which is near-record-setting temps even in Central TX. Expected to be 89F today. 80s is pretty common for Halloween here.

A wig is definitely the way to go.  O0

We're hitting record highs with low 80's temps this week.

Speaking of cheap costumes, the wife and I were "Cards Against Humanity" for the party we went to on Saturday night. I'll post a photo if I can find one.

Here's me in my Mikey costume I made to go along with my van... used to do birthday parties and whatnot when the van looked better lol

And back when I had long blonde hair, I'd dress up like Samantha from Bewitched

Woot toot! Yeah I did the shell out of a saucer sled painted brown and some foam that rests against my back... elastic straps with velcro... the pants and top are just green sweatpants and a sweatshirt with a neck piece I sewed on... the orange bands are fleece with velcro, the yellow chest part is fleece I sewed on... green socks with foam toes and thick rubber glued on the bottom... green gloves with fabric holding the fingers together... the belt is an orange fake leather kind of stuff with a plexiglas emblem I made and the mask is this stuff called Model Magic... Crayola makes it. It's super light and you can paint it when it's dry but as it dries, it shrinks... so I had to carve out the inside a bit once it was done.

Durable thing though, I once was on my way to the Halloween parade in my town (back in 2011 I think) and as I rounded a turn on the road I heard a noise... turns out I forgot the mask on top of the van. It hit the road and busted into quite a few pieces!! I grabbed them all and went back to the house to hot-glue the thing back together for the parade lololol still looks decent today  :thumb:

I actually made all the colors of the bands and all the belts so I can be any of the turtles... but I only have "real" weapons to be Mikey or Don. Had it in my mind that if the van's facebook page got more requests for birthday parties, the child could pick which turtle he/she wanted at the party. Some day maybe I'll get back into it when I make the van look perfect again.

That is awesome!!! I assume you've got a project thread for the van? I don't think I've seen it...
