After months of research on the forum and failed attempts of installing all LEDs (turn signals, indicators, and taillight) success at last! Frying my wiring harness, thanks to diodes catching on fire, was a blessing in disguise (http://gstwins.com/gsboard/index.php?topic=71102.0).

Thanks to guidance from forum members gregjet and mr72, adding a second LED to the tun signal indicator in the dash was the solution to make it all work.

It might not be perfect, but it works for npw. Cheers to gregjet and mr72 for the tips, write ups, and recommendations!

Awesome news! Good job, way to stick with it. I'll be doing mine as soon as the new turn signals arrive.

Wait, does the dashboard indicator always flash regardless of signals being activated?

I like how you have the integrated taillight but also left signals on the sides.  It's a lot more conspicuous than just the integrated light.  Looks good!

mr72 - thank you, sir! Looking forward to the pics.

Watcher - in the video it appears to have a faint blink; however, in person you cannot see it at all. After watching the video I tried to catch the constant blink several times and never saw it. I rode through some canyons at night and did not see any sign of blinking. Thanks for the compliment on the additional side LEDs. I live in CA and the CHP give tickets for integrated tail lights, so I added the LEDs on the passenger footpegs to prevent getting pulled over and added visibility for safety.  :thumb:

Nice work Al!  Very satisfying (after the frustration has subsided) to ride something that you've wrenched on yourself.

I like the racing stripe on the gas tank.  Did you paint that yourself?

We'll have to squeeze in a ride one of these days soon, before the winter rain.  Headed off to Alice's today.

Happy trails!

My bike had the rear turn signals removed and integrated installed when I got it. I'll be adding turn signals to the integrated setup myself mostly for safety and visibility. No car drivers are looking at the tail light to see a turn signal.

Endo - thanks man! It's a long term project and it feels great being done with that component of the bike lol. Much more left to do, as she's still under construction. The silver stripe on the white tank was just me fooling around with plastidip. Once I have the carbs tuned to my liking (next project), I'm going to put the fairings on for one last go prior to converting to naked in the spring. Looking forward to getting out there with you! :2guns:

SirHansford - right on brother! Back atcha!

mr72 - my sentiments exactly!
