Truth be told my solid textile is still packed away from the move and I haven't felt like digging it out.
Plus I don't like the crappy C3 rated armor in my solid, I much prefer the D3O in my mesh, so then I gotta switch all the pads over and I remember fit being weird so I gotta play with it...

Just an inevitable headache I have to deal with sooner or later.

I vote sooner!

It's been unseasonably warm in Ohio. We had temps in the 60's yesterday, which is practically unheard of for late November. Usually we've had at least one accumulating snowfall by now. It looks like late next week temps are going to dip, and we might get some snow. I've already got my liner back in my jacket though, and have been riding anytime I get the chance with daytime temps above 50. I can't ride in the 20's though...last time I tried that I was sick for the next three days...oh the joys of having little ones bringing home germs from daycare!

Hehe I totally understand Watcher, was just pokin' ya a bit  :kiss3:

I have a variety of layers and gear I wear that are always ready, depending on what temperature it is. Have a huge coat closet in my hallway where my different jackets and hoodies are and then I've got my drawer of base layer pants I can choose from, etc. The joy of owning a 3 bedroom house and only having to share it with 3 cats :D
Superbike bars, '04 GSXR headlight & cowl, DRZ signals, 1/2" fork brace, 'Busa fender, stainless exhaust & brake lines, belly pan, LED dash & brake bulbs, 140/80 rear hoop, F tail lens, SV650 shock, Bandit400 hugger, aluminum heel guards & pegs, fork preload adjusters, .75 SonicSprings, heated grips

LMAO Sounds like you need 2 more bikes!

Here I am complaining about riding home at night after studying in...48 degrees. Boohoo.  :icon_lol:

Well, it doesn't get all that cold here compared to what I came from, but we still see 70s during the day and it drops to like 30s-40s at night.

One issue with that is you have to dress accordingly and it's hard to pack a whole separate textile when travelling by bike, but the major challenge is since it never stays that cold you can never acclimate to it.
So when it gets cold its not like it's a little bit colder, it gets freaking COLD!

I couldn't agree with you more on that one. There's a time of year around here where it does get into the 60's and 70's in the afternoon when I leave for work... but then it's in the 30's when I go home at midnight.

For a normal person, it would be a real pain in the butt, I know!!

For me tho, I'm always cold unless I'm wearing lots of layers... OR unless it's like 80+ degrees... so when I leave for work and it's 70 out, I have all my layers on that are necessary to keep me warm on the way home later.

I'm gonna have a chilly ride home in about 3 hours, the weather right now is saying 35 degrees with a real feel of 25. Might see some snowflakes too... to go along with the Christmas lights!!

I couldn't get the bike close enough for a good picture and there's nowhere to safely park to get a shot under it, so these will have to do.

'Tis the season so your bike in front of a pine tree.
Bonus points if it's still in the ground.

I can't believe nobody has done this one yet. If someone doesn't get it in the next couple days, there's two Christmas tree farms within a couple miles of my house. Or I could roll my bike out of the garage and get a photo with one in my front yard...

I've been holding out on this because it's too easy around where I live as I'm surrounded by pine trees, Norfolk Island pines as it happens.  But it's time to move on. First person in can choose the next challenge.

Looks good!

What's the new challenge, user?
You're the winner, you get to pick.

OK, I didn't want to choose as I cacked it up last time. But how about this, your bike parked with two or more other bikes that are the same colour. No extra colours except for neutrals like white silver or black. Also bikes cannot be the same model as yours. Bikes have to be next to each other or bunched up, so no long rows of bikes.

Surely that cannot be too difficult. Unless you have a purple bike, so this is not a challenge for extroverts ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I looked at a purple Ninja 500 before I bought my GS. I would've bought it too, but the fairings were all busted up and it wouldn't start  :dunno_white:
