Hi everyone.  As I had stated on a previous thread, I am creating this thread as a contest to help my come up with a cool YouTube channel name. If we can get at least 20 members to participate in the contest, I will be declaring a winner. The winner will win a brand new pair of riding gloves. So let's all spread the word about this contest and put our thinking caps on. Thanks everybody.  I appreciate y'all and hope we can get some awesome names in the hat. The more the merrier!

you need to say what the channel is going to specialise in. More info needed. I'll be in this, I need a pair of gloves.

Do you have any videos yet that you can share?

Content, style, bike, color, location, etc, can all be used as a jumping off point.

I'm waiting for my go pro microphone to get here for the videos to begin.  But my channel will be all about motorcycles in general.  Reviews,  comparisons, tips m trick, cheap mods vs expensive mods, oil changes, matinence work, lots of DIY projects, and lots of random motovloggin.  Cruising and recording  all while talkin about all kinds of motorcycle related subjects. I plan to take request and give you all ( the audience)  what you would like to see. I commit to do my very best to make awesome videos that are appealing to the biker community . Your comments and request will be taken seriously.  Thanks y'all. I appreciate y'alls support in this new venture of starting a YouTube channel.

JT-2012:  two entries for ya: (1) "Mission-Moto" and (2) "Omnia Motus."  The second one is latin for "All Things Moto" - so the entry may be any combination of that between Latin & English, like "Omnia Moto" ... or maybe combine one and two, "Mission Motus."

It is quite obvious we are not going to reach the 20 participants needed for the contest.  Plus a mutual friend has just informed me some members may not be pleased about my contest I'm trying to do, as they feel I'm detouring from what the forum is about. So I want to apologize.  I had nothing but good intentions with this thread and trying to do a fun contest. I never stopped to think it might not please some members. But it is obviously not a hit. I will be immediately stopping the contest and I apologize to all the forum members. I honestly thought I was doing something good and I really thought I would get more support from the members here.  I sincerely apologize.

Dude, what do you mean? I don't see a single negative comment. I've been following along, but I'm not creative enough to come up with something good. 20 entries is a lot, though, considering there aren't all that many people that frequent this forum...it might take you a while to get to that number.

Yeah I'm not sure what happened either. I was enjoying the thread as well even though I'm in the same boat when it comes to creative names. Plus, I don't need gloves, I have a pair for every kind of weather lol!

I can't imagine the admins/mods having a problem with this thread... and if they did, I'm guessing they would have sent a PM and then closed/deleted it? But I still don't think they would mind it...

Also, the "detouring from what the forum is about" thing... I'm lost there too. Maybe one could argue this thread should be put in the Odds n Ends section instead? But that still is no reason to stop the contest/thread.

Completely agree with rscottlow though... it's gonna take a while to get 20. But it could happen!!!

" naked twins"  lol. that name would come up when people were searching for things OTHER than motorcycles lol.

afaik its not been reported. ( ive not seen it anyways.   plus i get emailed when that happens.) tell you what feel free to keep it rolling, ill move it o&e.

I have enough trouble deciding on a name for my channel, so I haven't really contributed here as a result.

It's hard to start a name with limited knowledge of what the channel will be like, unless there's a clear cut singular direction.

All inclusive motorcycle channel makes it kinda difficult.

I think JT-TV has something going for it, but when I think JT I think paintball.

How about something like "Total-Moto" or "Wrench'n'ride"
