The 17 has been out, this does seem to be around the time we might start seeing 18 models pop up in dealerships.  Haven't seen any locally, then again I don't make a habit out of window-shopping for bikes.

The bike I'm most interested to ride is the GSX250R, next time Suzuki is in town I'll have to make sure I get off work.

Honestly, if that bike were available when I first started riding, I might have bought it. I love the way it looks.

Yup, still a rebadged Gheydius with a sheiteiy steel frame.
The kawi 650 with a parallel twin seems to be the GS'es logical progression.
Or the BMW's F some or other.
Cool.

I wanna sit on one, and ride one for 30 minutes. seems like the handle bars is in that "Gs500" spot. too far forward, not far enough back, or not enough forward... the one thing that appealed to me on my 02 sv, was the clipons I could easily ride that thing 2 hours to the beach without shoulder pain, unlike my GS. also what happened to the 1000 SV? Lol

also why would anyone that knew better.. I love the SV's engine. don't get me wrong... but

SV650; $7,000 MSRP

Naked GSXR750z; $8,900 MSRP.

Idk, I'm a fan of the KTM super duke, and was hoping by now the SV line would "Grow up" to fill that missing Japanese once held decent market of V-twin POWERRRRR but I guess no more TL1000s, or RC51s... a thing of the past, horse power sells to dumb dumbs.. and I'm not about to drop 18,000 USD on a superduke either! HAH! no way.

SV1Ks are getting harder and harder to find. Trust me, in 08 when I got one, there were like 20 around and cheap, I had to trip over 2 TL's on my way to get it too. Now, not a 1.
I love the fact that 650 parts are a swap for lots of the body parts. Dinged up tank - no worry, 650 tanks are same, tail, seat etc etc all same as 650.
Cool.

I wish Kawi would start using the Z1000 chain adjuster system on more bikes.

For those not familiar, they set the axle offset in a larger ring that gets clamped in the swing-arm.  No more tightening a screw/nut to pull the wheel back and having to work both sides to stay straight, just loosen the clamp, rotate the ring "back" to desired tension, tighten clamp.
