if you know there's a thread about this, why not search?  that's like telling the cop, "yeah yeah, i know speeding is illegal, but i can't be bothered to drive at the speed limit."

to answer your question though, the handlebar options i know about are:

Srinath bars (search this site)
Suburban Machinery bars (made for SV650, will fit GS with some coersion)
Drag Bars

They fit (just) and are heaps better than stock.
