Hey i got the manual and seen the pics that show how to set float height and how much, but is it with bowl assembly flushed and pressed down, not the tang pressing down on the needle, but the assembley being held down or is it with the entire assembly just floating.

Cause if you put the cover back on you can see in the gasket that the assembly is pressed down and not just floating the manual or pics don't specify.

All I remember is pushing the assembly into place so the O-ring would hold it there, and then using one hand to tilt the carbs back and forth while holding a ruler with the other.

I don't recall pressing the assembly down WHILE I tilted and measured.
