Hey,
I was wondering if I should buy a broken bike that is selling for cheap.
It is a gs500f with the motor of a gs500e.
It does not start most of the time and when it does the rpm does not stay constant at idle. When you pull the throttle it shuts off.
Do you think this problem can be fixed? Or will it be too expensive to bother?

Thanks for the help!

If it starts and runs and will rev ok with lkittle smoke, then could be perfectly fine as a fixer.
A motorcycle is more than a motor . check everything else...

How much is cheap? :dunno_black:

here in Houston Ive found three turds in the last few weeks for 4-500 that would be great bikes to fix.  I have to stay off CL or I'll just keep hoarding bikes,....
