Hi guys,

My friend told me that i should ride my GS with choke half way ON.
I turn the ignition key,and I pull choke 1/2 and then i wait for 15 seconds and i give gas and i take off.
However,i don't have to give throttle at all, while the choke is ON,because it runs even without giving throttle.
Since my friend said I have to ride it first 15 min with choke on until bike is fully warmed up,i would like to hear second opinion about it.
So,should i ride with choke ON for first 15 min,or should i turn choke off once i take off?

You don't *have* to although you might need to.

Depend on the condition of your tuning and the temperature. In the summer with a well tuned bike that will idle at 1100-1300 when fully warmed, you can probably just start up and ride off with no choke, I do that most of the time as after one minute it's idling fast enough not to stall.

If it's cold you may want to leave the choke on enough so that it's idling at 1500-2000 for 5 or 10 minutes. At any rate you should have the choke off by 15 minutes.

This all is on the understanding that your air/fuel screw mix has been adjusted correctly when fully warmed and you have no leaks or other problems, otherwise all bets are off.

EDIT: Where you set the choke depends on what speed it's causing the bike to idle at. You might turn the choke on full and start and after a few seconds it will be idling at 3-4000  by which time you'll want to turn it back until it's running at 2000 and leave it at that for a few minutes. After a while you'll get used to where to set it to. If you set it to 1500 after it settles down, then you'll still be using the throttle to take off.

If the bike wants to go with no throttle you should be turning the choke down.

Riding with the choke on won't hurt anything, necessarily.  Over time it can foul out the spark plugs, but a few minutes isn't a big deal.  How long the bike needs to warm up will vary with climate and jetting, but generally you can start the bike on full choke, turn it down to half after some seconds, start riding, then turn it down to off after a minute or two.  15 of the choke on, especially while riding, seems excessive to me.  15 minutes is the time it takes me to ride all the way to work.  I usually have the choke off before I get to the next major intersection...
