My recent experience with replacing the tires and chain of my Ducati left me with a ruined, but brand-new, RK 520 XSO ring chain, so rather than throw away the now relatively useless heap of hinged metal I decided to do something interesting with it.

Behold!  I made some key-chains!   ;)  eh?   ;)  eh?

I have around 30 of these in some slight variations.  Most of the 3-link sizes are unmarked, I have (3) that bear the RK initials, (1) that says "JAPAN" on them, (1) that says "520 XSO1", and (1) that has "1878" inscribed on it.  I also have (2) that are a single link.

I'm asking $5 for the 3-link sizes, and $3 for the single link sizes (or $5 for both of them), first come first serve on the inscribed ones.  Each comes with a 1" split-ring.  I did my best to degrease them with chain cleaner, but there may be some residual residue on some.  As these are raw chains some are developing a natural patina.

Message here then PM me if you're interested in any.

I'll ship for free to the contiguous USA (because GStwins rules).  I don't wish to deal with international shipping for such minor items.

Preferred payment method is Square, but I will also accept PayPal.

A heavy key chain can turn off the ignition when going round a corner (don't even ask me how I know). Naaa I love this story. I havhe a little metal VW beetle key chain and on my Vulcan it used to sit there and nice roll left and right and look so daymmmm cute. Yea, OK then it went too far and turned me off mid corner @ 30 mph on an on ramp.
Its fun, but make sure the chain cant move much.
Cool.

Hey just the thing to rattle around scratching up your top triple.
Beam me up Scottie....

Obviously using it on your motorcycle key is a subjectively bad idea.  On a GS I don't think it'll cause much fuss.  On my Ducati it'll scratch the tank for sure.

But for a keyring decoration or conversation piece, I think it's a cool idea
