OK here we go! I did try to get some of me and the bike in a reflection but it wasn't working at all lol. If this is passable, I'd like to see your bike parked at a grocery store. It can be a big chain store or a little market that ya like to shop at. Either one would be cool.
Superbike bars, '04 GSXR headlight & cowl, DRZ signals, 1/2" fork brace, 'Busa fender, stainless exhaust & brake lines, belly pan, LED dash & brake bulbs, 140/80 rear hoop, F tail lens, SV650 shock, Bandit400 hugger, aluminum heel guards & pegs, fork preload adjusters, .75 SonicSprings, heated grips

Well now. That's where 90% of my motorcycle trips are. But it's raining constantly here for the next week, so maybe I'll miss out.

I do that every week but I never remember the picture. To be honest, I think that picture I posted before with the Grom would have worked for the last two challenges as that building behind is both a shop and a plate glass building (well, the front of it is anyway).

Grocery store should be easy enough.

I do have a bit of an errand to run tomorrow, if noone else beats me to it I think I can get it.

How about this?

If that gets it done, then let's do the iron butt edition.

Your bike at some place you pick that's at least 200 miles from your home, and you rode it there.

yea mr72!
iron butt edition,...that's a hardcore challenge!

Damn, I had to go to Phoenix last week and that was only about 100 miles out, still a long ride.

Don't think anyone will be getting this one any time soon.  Can we adjust it?

seems like it took two weeks for someone to get to the grocery store :) Let's see if we have any long-range tourers with a photo, if it gets long, I'll lower the requirement.

BTW I'm doing a trip to a rally & show in less than a month that's about 100 miles from my house. Certainly someone has a bigger ride than that planned soon.

cbrfxr67

bump?  Can we pick something else?

sheesh.

Alright let's lower it to 100 miles. Certainly someone will be riding that far. Heck, I probably will in less than a week.

I don't understand what the photo is meant to be of. I get it you have to do over a 160km ride, but what's the photo of?

mr72

Your bike, in a location 100+ miles (160 km) from home.

Kookas

You picked a bad time I think. Most people this time of year are either garaging it or just making necessary trips I would imagine. I'm in the second category - if I do go for a 'pleasure cruise' I'm unlikely to go more than 40 miles away. Even when I visit family, that's only 80 miles away.

cbrfxr67

dang it,...i saw new post and thought somebody got it and we were getting a new challenge,...

Alright, I'll have a go at this.

Taken about 900klms away from home in the Mungo national Park.
So how about we make it easy for everyone who's got their bikes in the shed and post a photo with one or more wheels off the bike.

Yeah I figured an Aussie on this list would not see this as the motorcycling off-season. And for those of us in some of the most populous states in the USA, this really is peak riding season... CA, TX, FL .. Man, if I was in Florida I'd go ride all the way to Key West and take a picture to win this for myself. And in TX you have to go 100+ miles to go anywhere at all.

Nudie

Yes it's riding season all year round here. Though at times we have the opposite problem to you guys, sometimes it's too bloody hot to get out! Mostly it's just a matter of wearing the gear appropriate to the temperature.
