Yeah from June thru about mid-August it's too hot to ride here too. And there'll be three or four days a year where it's too cold. That leaves about 9.5 months of prime riding season.

Finally got around to doing the steering bearings.  Alot of work for something you can't even see :dunno_white:

Annnnd,....how about your bike with a Christmas Inflatable?!  I saw a good one today on the way in,.... cmon Watcher you can do this one

There are a bunch of those Christmas inflatable decorations in my neighborhood, problem is they are not pumped up until after dark, and I am generally not on my bike at that time.

qcbaker

I'm a little salty because there are inflatables near my house, and the weather today has been really nice. But it was soaking wet this morning so I didn't take my bike in, and now I'm stuck at work and by the time I get home, it'll probably be too cold and dark for it to be worth it. Sigh...

GSChesler

I'll try to get this one...even with a flat tire and broken brake lever... I should be able to push my motorcycle far enough down the driveway that I can see the inflatables in my yard!
If I can't fix it for free, it likely will not be fixed.

Watcher

If no one gets this by Xmas-eve I'll be riding to my counsin's after work.  He usually has something out front.

Well several of my neighbors had them up when I went out today but I kind of figured they'd think I was some kind of creep if I parked right in front of their house and took a selfie. So I yield this challenge to you guys.

My cousin didn't have no inflatables this year...

well, I would consider it today except it's going to be raining and thunderstorming all day so I won't be out riding. That, and in my neighborhood, nobody turns on their outdoor Christmas decorations after Christmas. In fact, my wife will have us tearing down the Christmas tree and interior decorations today, but I'll get a pass until the rain clears to take apart the outside decorations.

woo hoo winning,...!  I only stopped to get one cause,.uhh, errr,.....riding in the rain sucks,..

How about your bike with something related to New Year's?!  Shouldn't be too hard :icon_mrgreen:

I love that pic cbr !!!

Even though it's a tad late, I should be able to get the New Years one when I go home from work later tonight.

EDIT: Got it! Not the greatest but I figure 2019 on the calendar, a glittery banner (cleverly edited because it's a birthday banner LOL) and two champagne glasses (that I did just use on New Years this year) would do alright

If that's passable cbr, how about the next challenge being your bike with something you got as a gift this past Christmas :D
Superbike bars, '04 GSXR headlight & cowl, DRZ signals, 1/2" fork brace, 'Busa fender, stainless exhaust & brake lines, belly pan, LED dash & brake bulbs, 140/80 rear hoop, F tail lens, SV650 shock, Bandit400 hugger, aluminum heel guards & pegs, fork preload adjusters, .75 SonicSprings, heated grips

mr72

Oh yes. That's probably quite doable since at least one of my Christmas gifts will be attached to my bike and today is going to be a great day for a ride!

Show in for the win! sweeee-eeet love that bike of yours!

does it show?
can't seem to get it to show in post, anyway, my Mum gave me these gloves for Christmas - they'll get a bit soggy in the rain tho'
Your next challenge (if accepted) is to show your bike (quintuple points if a GS500) absolutely filthy, I mean covered in mud/sand/dust/whatever... - just because you ride in all weathers and conditions and are'nt just a sunny day bod.
You'll get a quadrillion extra points if you show pics of before and after it's clean 'n' gleaming!
Bring it on - the dirtier the better  :icon_twisted:

( ps please excuse the state of my "workshop" :D  )

Bollards, can't get it to work so someone else will have to have a go

mr72

no, you need to wrap it in "[IMG]" tags.
