im trying to custom make a fairing for my gs500

where do i attatch my cutom made fairing stay to the bike?

i need it so tht the fairing and headlight does not more while the handlebars are turned!!

please someone help be4 mornigng

fairing stay attaches to the front of the steering head on the frame. you'll need to weld a bracket on. at least thats the way it is on most sportbikes, don't know about the gs500F though...

The F doesn't use GSXRish stays or even a steering head mounted bracket AFAIK from looking at one. There are brackets bolted to the sides of the frame and they hold the whole fairing/headlight assembly on.

radon- What kind of fairing are you trying to put on the bike? That might help us help you...

im bolting one brakets coming for where the horn scres are...               so far its coing out great...                  i bought the full fairing!!
what a iditot i am!!                  got great priices though

pics will be up hopefully by july 25th

I saw a GS "F" today and I it does have a center steering stem bracket.
