1998E. Chasing down a no power situation on the hi beam circuit.
Yes Ive tested the bulb and its working fine ~
Ive checked it back from the switch into the yellow connector to the main loom but without a diagram Im stumped
I did notice that the indicator bulb appears to be out. Is it necessary to close the circuit?

The highbeam and the indicator are parallel from the switch.  With both not working, verify both bulbs.  If both good, likely a switch issue.
