GS500 Missing a few drainage hoses, is this a big issue?

I did a full carb cleaning recently and was putting back together my 2001 GS500, and I realized I never had a couple of drain hoses. I don't have the one for the airbox. Then for the carburetor upper T, which I think is the carb vent, there is also no hose (just an open T connector). Then finally for the fuel tank, I only have three hoses, whereas I see 4 outlets. Two for the petcock, of course, and then one more hose which I think goes to one of the other two outlets (I think drainage outlets). Also it turns out that my GS500 is one of the California ones so it has the filter below the battery, but all the connections to that are screwy as well and any guidance fixing it up would be greatly appreciated. Also, is there any risk to not getting hoses for the vents and just leaving them as open vents?

The airbox drain hose should have a hose and a intact cap with a tiny hole in it - else you'd suck unfiltered air through that hole.
The top T of carb, tank rollover valve etc are not needed for functioning of the bike, but if you drop the bike, that T vent would prevent fuel from flying everywhere, and route it to the back of the bike where its further away from a hot motor. And that charcoal can under the battery - yea nothing needs to be connected to that either. You can remove and toss it.

Cool.

On my airbox, 2008 gs500f, there are two holes at the bottom. one of them connects to the engine or carb (cant tell right now), and the other one is completely off. should I put some tape or something over the open hole to keep it sealed? Thanks

On my 2006, the bottom hole is for the airbox drain hose, the hole slightly above it connects to the 2nd air unit which is fed by the engine.

For completeness, the hose on the top of the airbox connects to the breather cover on the cylinder head cover.

I see, thanks. I had the 2nd air unit attached to the bottom hole, and I dont have a "breather" hose. Could the hose from the black charcoal canister be the breather hose that attaches to the bottom of the airbox? I didnt check when I had it disassembled, so idk if the hose even fits, but hey, it would make a lot of sense! Do you know where the black canister hose goes to? I posted this in another thread but havent got a specific response yet, thanks

If I remember correctly, that goes to a vacuum T-junction. The other hose from the airbox should go to something on the left-hand side of the engine.

Yea It looks like a vacuum hose, I just dont have anything to connect it to lol. There was actually tons of fuel in the airbox when I took it apart to swap where the hoses connect to the airbox. Guess Ill just leave the black canister hose dangling for now
