Hi there. I am looking at purchasing a diode kit to solve the indicator bulb problem, i.e. only flashing on one side. I live in Romania and I have found something but not sure if it will work.

I have been looking at the led kits for metric bikes and the wiring is different. Could anyone help and let me know if the above would be suitable.

Many thanks

I installed a 2 pin solid state flasher. It works well, No problems, with LED turn signal bulbs.

I have normal flashing on both sides and indicator lamp in the dash.

If you can't buy this flasher in Romania, the resistors you showed should work. You could connect to the bullet connecters for the turn signals, either in the headlight bucket (neatest) or at the connectors in the rear (best cooling)

Hi there! Thank you so much for your advice. I'm sure that I saw a relay somewhere. I'll go and check.

Thanks a lot

There is this one that is available here:

I have just found this:

I have seen some other resistors for 10w and 21w systems. What does the gs use?

Thanks for your help.

Hi guys. I finally bought the diodes and fitted them to the bike. I now have a flashing bulb on both sides  :woohoo: However, I seem to have an earthing problem as when I am indicating right, the front left indicator lights up ever so slightly and flashes. This doesn't happen when I do the opposite. So I am wondering, is it a faulty earth? If so, do I start looking underneath the headlamp or towards the flasher relay?

Thanks for your help in all this

It's not uncommon for the problem to be in the bulb socket.

One way to find an earthing (we say grounding in USA) is to use a jumper wire from battery negative and touch it to the bulb socket shell and bulb base. (While the bulb is flashing)

The sockets can get bad inside
