Check it out, I fixed my new (used) fairing with nail polish!

It looks great from far away, but still looks not so good up close. I'll sand it down and paint it properly some time later when I have time. :)

I never would have thought of that! Very clever. Isnt it good that people make nail polish in Suzuki colours? How did you go with your tank?

I know isn't that nice of the cosmetics companies?? I had quite a selection to pick from.. I have 2 shoe boxes filled with nail polish. I had 5 different blues and 6 differnet silvers, I picked the ones that matched the best.  ;)

It's actually really good for a "quick fix" because I tested this on a piece of the old broken fairing - nail polish remover takes off the polish and doesn't touch the original paint, so when it comes time to fix it properly I won't even have to sand off the nail polish, just dissolve it off with the remover.

I found a tank! Just working out the shipping details, I should have it soon :)

Don't listen to davipu -- he's drunk.  (That's not an accusation; that's his own confession!)  Since Meighan isn't around, here's how I think she does it:

Thanks again Kerry for all your help.

BTW no apologies are in order. He's entitled to his own $0.02. Besides, I was too busy laughing at his post to take him seriously

I'm not sure what was funnier, his not knowing how to use the "quote" button properly or his blabbering. :dunno:
Davipu, would you like some cheese with that wine?  :(  :(  :(

I've lived in NC for 10 years and I know a redneck when I hear one. Go ahead and drink another beer on me  Hopefully, you'll passout :P

My feelings exactly.  I keep forgetting to pepper my posts with    and  8)  and others so I don't come across like an "old sobersides".  (Name that movie quote!)

Dave I went drinking last night too.... too much gin! I feel mildly hung over, however, the headache that I've had for 2 days is finally gone!!! So, I will have to remember this, gin = no more headache!

Kerry thanks for posting the "how to" on image enlarging, that is how I do it :)
