I bought my GS500 in San Antonio. Lots of great hill country to ride on out that way. I have to go an hour SW to get to it, you'l have to go an hour north, but there's a lot to love about Kerrville, Johnson City, Llano, Fredricksburg, Marble Falls, Buchanan Dam, Tow, etc. if you're on a motorcycle.

Go join Two Wheeled Texans, that's where the Texans talk a lot more about local MC stuff. Tons of San Antonians there.
