Looks like a GS500 alright. Maybe sold new as a 450 to dodge a bylaw/regulation of the local authority.

Yes total theft bait. You can rest assured though it was one of us who would have stolen it to like see all the cool features on it, then find the owner and return it with some gift basket and apologies.
BTW when I find a PT cruiser in the parking lot I'll try my best to park my PT cruiser next to it and be admiring it, usually some old lady will walk out of the store and go, shoo shoo weirdo. I'll mumble something like PT cruiser nice. And that's usually when I get clocked on the head with her umbrella.
Cool.

Its one of those love it or hate it type looking cars. On the mechanical side, its nearly indestructible, especially the non turbo version. A complete non interference motor. I broke the timing belt and it was un affected. Just replace it and run. However every 100 K you need to change the motor mounts, timing and accy belt and ignition coil. Some 500+ in parts and 500+ in labor and that is if you have a good mechanic in your corner.
