I have a 2007 gs500f with 7300 miles on it. This issue appeared randomly while on a 3 hour ride, when coming to stop lights or signs when i hold in the clutch the rpms drop below 1k and it dies, it sometimes starts rig back up other times it wants a tiny bit of throttle. It will also happen pull in the clutch and coast and I only found this out trying to figure what was happening as I wouldn't do this normally. I've had this happen from Omph to 70mph with the same result. What I've done so far to try and resolve this: -cleaned carbs(they were actually pretty clean) -synced carbs -Cleaned air filter -Replaced all vacuum and fuel lines -Checked botts on the carbs for cracks, none they're perfect -Replaced spark plugs

and properly gapped

• Set fuel mixture screws to the highest rpm (4 turns for me) -Set idle speed higher, helps slightly but not enough If decelerating quickly(if set too high it acts like a vacuum leak?)

If I give the throttle a few revs while stopping I can usually prevent the stall but it's rather annoying.

I did that's the tps off when cleaning the carbs and put it back the way it was. I'm really lost and I have to make another trip in 3 days if like to fix this asap!!!

could be valve gap, you should change the carb boots to valve head oring also.
spark plug color?

4 turns out on the fuel mixture screw seems like a lot. You should really move the pilots up a step and run fewer turns, if only to keep from losing a $20 screw.(I've done it)

Is it possible the idle mixture is set too rich, so it runs well when cold; but drowns it when hot? (Like running the choke on a hot engine)

Mine will pick-up a few hundred rpm @ idle once it's fully heated, which is normal for an air-cooled engine.

Is everything stock?
