This is *seriously* stupid.  How could you possibly think that stretching lots of plastic wrap across a road is a good idea.  Even if a cage hit the barrier, it would certainly have caused damage and possibly an accident.  The fact that it was a rider who found it first is just unfortunate.

In my day (not that long ago, actually) we used toilet paper, eggs, and the occasional Hershey's syrup balloon (don't ask).  This kind of prank is both stupid and malicious.  I hope they catch the bastards and make them run full speed into a brick wall.

They need to be found persecuted to the fullest extent of the law. On a side note, it doesn't look or sound like either of them were wearing helmets.
