I have to agree w/ thse guys bud. I have been riding off-road for 10+years. And my wife even said i should just get a new GSXR 750 and I was also looking @ a new Honda SuperHawk. Was real close to buying the GSXR, sales man was pissed when i walked out. I got home looked on E-bay found a guy close and For $1000 bucks later i had my 89GS. Sure maybe the next season or two i will buy that GSXR,but if I dump my 89 GS I am only out $1000 rather then $10,000. It is a fun bike, and even when i buy that new GSXR or whatever, i will still own my GS, Wife now wants to learn to ride. So play-It-Safe for now, Enjoy the GS it will do alot when your pass that 600 mile break in. This way you can keep all your organs
