Have you ever been surfing e-bay and found something that only had a few seconds left on it and had to decide right now if you wanted it or not?

Well, I found a new, in-the-box, GSXR600 exhaust can and placed an impulse bid just before the auction ended and got it.  Problem being that it ended up being a bolt-on.  Has anyone here ever fabricated something to facilitate using a bolt-on or has everyone else been smart enough to go slip-on or full exhaust?

I know there will be no performance difference, but there has to be more airflow at least and better sound.  With the stock exhaust I'm convinced if I close my eyes tight enough I can totally disappear...

Also, I'm not going to have to re-jet again since this is isn't an aftermarket pipe am I? :dunno:

The problem with the flange type stuff is that the flange part's od is so large, it probably hits the swingarm.
Cool.

no you want have to rejett since the stocker doesn't flow that much

o yeah, i have a bolt on gsxr750 can on my bike....just make a flange or a plate that will bolt to the exhaust can and weld it to the pipe.....if you got the same (huge) caniser you will have to get a extened pipe to make it look right because if you just bolt it to the GS pipe where the stock canister used to be it will look weird since the new canister is way bigger...

do whatever you think is best....i will take some pics of mine and post them here

Borrow money from a pessimist - they don't expect to get it back.

You need to re-post DSC01049.JPG -  it got chopped off somehow.

And it will probably be the most helpful one!

49 doesn't work for you?

it's on the site....i don't know what the problem is  :dunno:

Just try deleting it (from your webspace!) and re-uploading it.  Less than half of it displays for me.  :dunno:

If you would, since the link is cutting it off for some reason, can you just e-mail the pic to me?  I'd like to print it out and use it as sort of a template.
