That fairing looks a lot like the National Cycle F-16 (which coincidently I've been considering purchasing for the past few days). How tall is that shield of yours, by tall i mean from the top of the headlight to the top of the shield?

Great looking fairing btw, you've brought me one step closer to ordering the F-16.

Very nice, c0r.  Was it necessary to make any modifications to the fairing, mounts, or your bike to mate the shield and your bike?  Is it easily removable?

I put 250 miles on my bike the past two days (I picked it up Saturday as a first-time rider) and I'm already considering a small piece of fairing for those longer, highway-speed treks.

Its not very tall at all, i had the place i brought it from fit it for me he said no brackets came with the fairing but after 20 mins the bike was back with the screen 2 small brackets and no drilling modifactions made the new brackets simply sit between the headlight and headlight brackets.
Top stuff cav i am a fairly new rider myself what bike did you get have you posted a pic to the wall of fame ? cheers c0r.

Ride? Hell ya, why walk?

That is an excellent looking screen - what's the wind protection like? I'm just looking at screens now for a bit more wind protection at higher speeds. Conradvr says the F16 is good, but this looks much sexier...

Laura

That IS a nice looking screen. I think mine is the F16. Yours looks better.

I can't find the screen on the maw website - you sure that's the one?

The Antibody

Yeah, it's nearly identical to the National F-16. Satin instead of glossy. The F-16 comes with all of the neccessary hardware. It takes wind off of your chest unless you lay on the tank. Then you have nearly full coverage. They are a great compromise between wind protection and style.

This isn't the best explanation on the board, but check out the thread for sale photos.

:dunno:

fairly simple...

1. u need a host try -> www.photobucket.com
2.  upload your photo to the host
3.  once you got it uploaded, the host should give u a url pointing to your photo. ie  www.photobucket.com/pic1
4.  write down that url
5.  make a post and to create an image in the post use a simple html command

like so without the period [i.mg]the photo url[/img]
