The Kangi on the  tank says: "Hi, I crashed my big ass 'Busa, and am too cheap/broke to fix the bodywork."

That is some ugly azz shizzle.  That bike's tank looks bigger than the dang engine.  Just plain ugly really.

Isn't that how the whole fighter scene came into existence in the first place?

Hey, if Yamaha can do it with the Fazer (sort of), why shouldn't he? And again, isn't being ugly what "true" fighters are about?

(Can you hear thet fighters ar not my cup of tea?)

Yeah but he could try to not be quite so obvious about it...

I've actually toyed with doing a "minimalist excessive" streetfighter with either a Busa or a ZX12 (monocoque frame) but this is just a bad, half-hearted execution of it.

I have to agree with you there.  The Busas to me look just thrown together.  Something to do with the lines of the bike being interrupted or something . . . can't exactly put my finger on it.

Anyway, regarding the above pic.  So what happens when he slides to far back in the saddle?

I agree that the Busa(in the pic) is a cobbled mess. Hopefully it's a work in progress. Either that, or it's a Rat Bike. I really do like the looks of some of the well done Streetfighters. Well, those that don't have vertical seats. :? I think Bandits and even GSs look pretty good done up right in Streetfighter form. :thumb:

Totally man, Suzuki needs to take their designers to an aesthetics class or something. Whenever they try to design a new body they end up looking too wierd and the styling  lines don't match up.  Even the magazines sometimes complain.

All of Suzuki's recent designs got beat with the ugly stick on thier way out of the factory. V-Stroms, the new SVs, even new GSXRs  (and the GS500 too) got whacked in the nose a few times...

Its a good thing they work so well, or Suzuki would be in the dumps.
