I listed my bike, and riding gear on ebay. When I go to "my ebay", it shows that I am selling the items. If I just go to the ebay home page and type in gs500, my bike is not shown?? Same when I type agv leathers. Mine dont show up?? Could someone try it and see if there are a set of leathers being sold by seller parts-everywhere, Same for the race bike.
I'm wondering if they are recognizing the ip address of my computer and not showing me my own auctions. It happens even if I'm not signed in.

It can take a few hours to show up...  eBays database servers have to reindex.  With a site of their size, it's impossible to do in real time.

I posted the stuff 8 hours ago

uhhh...any help out there?

Go to the advanced search options at the top of the page and search for the items based on your username.  If it finds them there, I bet it should find them based on the keywords.  Are you sure you are spelling it the same as how you listed it?

Yep, I'm spelling them right. I just want to make sure they are coming up when someone types in "gs500" or "gs 500" or "agv leathers" etc...
It does recognize that its me when I visit the page even if I'm not signed in. I'm guessing they dont show you your own auctions unless you sign in and go to "my ebay" ? :dunno:  I won't know until someone goes to the home page and types in gs500 race bike for me and see if it comes up.

I tried searching too, didn't find anything. What's the auction title, the price, and your user id. That might help us find it, or know if we've found the right one.

they are showing up if I search by your user name, but not by the keywords.  I bet you are still gonna have to wait for the servers to rebuild their indexes a bit more.

auction listings:
gs 500 race bike
agv leathers
agv boots
spidi gloves
fm helmet
dainese back protector

What a rip off!! I remember when auctions took a couple hours to show up, but its been almost 10 hours. I only listed then for 5 days, another 2 hours and I'll have lost 10% of my time :x

well, they're coming up now.

Still cant get them to work for me, only if I go to my account and go to my selling section, then it lists the auctions

indestructibleman

ok.  there is something weird.

before, after i looked up your name, i was able to search in another window and come up with your items.

now i'm not finding them.

yup.  i think something's screwed up and you have grounds for complaint.

I just shot them an email asking what the deal is. We'll see what they say. Thanks for the confirmation.

Thanks for the reply's, thought I was doing something wrong. :o

one thought.... the auction listing you say specifies "gs 500", and you searched for "gs500".  that one space can kill you. =]
