Basically, the hotmail box fills instantly if somebody sends me a couple digital photos as attachments, so it just really wasn't usefull as my primary email anymore.  G-mail has a whole Gig of storage space (I think Hotmail was 2 megs), so it is nearly impossible to fill up.  The g-mail interface is also much smoother and easier to use than Hotmail, and they have a pretty interesting way of storing emails as threaded discussions, which I like.

I use the g-mail account for my friends/family email.  I kept the hotmail account to use for BBS memberships, e-commerce accounts, and other mailing-list sorts of things.  I've had that hotmail address since my freshman year of college back in '95, so every membership I have is keyed to it.  It's a lot easier to just keep my accounts tied to that address than it would be to change them all.

OK whatever it is... I want one... Sorry I was in LA (not the real LA which be louisiana) or the second LA (which is Lower alabama) but the Copy cat LA... Los angeles... aka L.A... BTW hooked up with Manjul, and should have stayed at his place and screwed around with the GS...instead... OK OK I'll let him finish this post ... BTW could I get a gmail... and how...
