I downloaded it, but it only played about halfway through. Has anyone else who downloaded it been able to play the entire thing??

I downloaded it and it played all the way through.

It did take a long time to d/l - I'd guess 15 hours and I'm on a cable modem w/ a 3MB Connection

I tried downloading it from blueknyt's site but it stopped at about 80%. It took like 20 hours for just 80% at a 5k connection. And I have a cable modem! Anyway I just end up deleting when I found it from MPA's site: http://www.jackardisana.com/gs500.

28 min download @ 275k connection. Beautiful! Thankyou MPA!!!!!

I downloaded the video is 20 min but i can only get it to play 8 min in

i have tried multple programs and on another computer

any one have any ideas on what i'm doing wrong?

yeah, my friend reset the server last night, would seem there was 7 members DLing it at the same time, He claims it was really hammering his bandwith (it was in his home afterall) and a site he normaly pings 50 was pinging 900. so im sorry i did try to make it available and im still looking for a feesable and effeciant way to make it accessable to all.

If you wish to PM me, and send me a Blank CD with Self addressed envelope to put it in, i will happily make a copy and send it back to you.

There actually is a torrent file out there. For awile Rema1000 was hosting it. I think the only problem with the torrent is that it doesn't really work with just one person, unless they keep the connection up all the time. When I got the video from Rema it took like a day or so. I'll keep it up on my site as long as I have the bandwidth for it. I get 1 Tb a month, so hopefully that will easily cover the demand. Right now I am working on re-encoding the video into a smaller size that should make it easier to download for everyone.

if someone has a clean non-corrupted copy of it, I can always host it 24/7 on the edk network (slower, but way more reliable). I have a machine connected all year long

last time a user ftped me hte file, it got corrupted

Just downloaded from jardisan's site. once I clicked on the link, it took about 30 min for the "save file" dialgoue box to appear, but once it did, I was downloading at about 7.3MB/sec so it took all of 75 seconds to get. I was on a T3 which is a big pipe, but still the hosting server couldn't have been that bad at that rate.

Hmmmm I surprised that it took 30 mins for the save file dialog to come up, maybe there was a server problem or something. I downloaded it last night myself from home and it went pretty quick.

WREX it might have downloaded in the background while the save thing was taking a poo. I know firefox will download as soon as its ready, even before you choose a place to save it. (then i guess it copies it there after)
