Modified F model front fairing, windscreen, and headlight on E model

I have been looking for what I see being called a bikini fairing but haven't been able to find any I really like.  Pretty much something to go above the headlight and go up over the gauges a little.  I have an '93 E and the headlight from an F because it looks great.  I was thinking of mounting the headlight and chopping a broken fairing and windscreen like the picture I doodled on below.  It would be cool to have the mirrors on it as well because I think the bar-mounted ones a goofy looking.  Just wondering what you all think.

It will look really cool from the front, but from the side you will probably see the big ugly fairing bracket, which will look weird.
If you can weld, you might be able to shorten the bracket an inch or two to bring the fairing in tighter.

There are a few bikes using that look in the AFM. I think it's kind of... Ugh.
